Protein Cookie Bowls

We tried transforming a classic protein cookie into something more fun and original... These Protein Cookie Bowls are what we ended up creating! Not only is this recipe delicious, it is also a favourite of ours because of how customizable it is! Have fun creating endless combinations of fillings and toppings using one and only base recipe.

PROTEIN COOKIE BOWLS

Protein cookies are great... But what if we told you we made cookie BOWLS? We love this recipe because of how versatile it is ; you can really get creative with your fillings and toppings. Make these a healthier snack by using them as a yoghurt bowl base, or transform them as a dessert by adding some ice cream!

These cookie bowls are simple to make and have a high protein content. What a fun way to upgrade your snacks!

 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup oat flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 scoops Maple Brown Sugar Isolate Protein
  • ¾ cup mashed sweet potatoes, cooked
  • ¼ cup liquid egg whites
  • ½ tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sweetener
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt 

 

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F ;
  2. In a bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes, liquid egg whites, and vanilla extract ;
  3. In a seperate bowl, mix the oat flour, cornstarch, protein powder, sweetener, and salt ;
  4. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients ;
  5. Mix in the chocolate chips ;
  6. Grease the back of a muffin tin and mold your dough on top. Make sure you leave an empty space between every cookie bowl you make ;
  7. Bake for 11-13 minutes ;
  8. Let fully cool and unmold ;
  9. Add your favourite toppings and enjoy!

 

Topping combination ideas

  • Greek yoghurt, cinnamon and honey
  • Berries and syrup
  • Ice cream and caramelized apples
  • Frozen yoghurt
  • Cottage cheese and strawberries
