PROTEIN STRAWBERRY BANANA BREAD
This twist on banana bread is the best way to make this recipe more summery, light, and fresh! Adding the sweetness of strawberries to a classic comforting banana bread is an amazing way to switch things up and to keep your healthy diet sustainable and enjoyable.
Ingredients (8 servings)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries, blended into a purée
- 1 cup frozen strawberries, chopped
- 2 very ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup greek yoghurt
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1 cup oat flour
- 2 scoops Strawberry Banana Isolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup granulated sweetener
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350F ;
- In a bowl, mash the bananas ;
- Add the strawberry purée, the yoghurt and the egg whites, and mix ;
- Add the oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda and sweetener to the bowl, and mix until everything is well combined ;
- Fold in the chopped strawberries ;
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper, and pour the batter in ;
- Bake for 60-70 minutes ;
- Let cool, slice into 8 portions, and enjoy!
