SINGLE-SERVE PROTEIN APPLE CRISP
Since it's officially apple-picking season, we thought it was a MUST for us to share a high protein apple crisp recipe. Not only is this recipe good for you, it's also very simple to make, tastes amazing, and is a single-serve portion!
This is absolutely perfect for a cozy breakfast, for a tasty snack, or for a high protein dessert.
Ingredients (1 serving)
Apple filling
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sugar free syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Crumble topping
- 3 tbsp quick oats
- 1 tbsp rolled oats
- 1/2 scoop Maple Brown Sugar Isolate or Whey protein powder
- 1 tbsp sugar free apple sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar free syrup
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation
- Wash and dice an apple ;
- In a small microwave-safe container, mix the apple with the other apple filling ingredients ;
- Microwave for 2 minutes ;
- In a seperate bowl, mix the crumble ingredients together ;
- Top the cooked apple filling with the crumble ;
- Microwave for another 2 minutes ;
- Let cool and enjoy!
