35 CALORIE PROTEIN BROWNIE BITES
If you have both fitness goals and the biggest sweet tooth, we've got good news for you... No need to compromise when you can make these healthy, low calorie AND high protein brownie bites. They're soft, fluffy, chocolatey and will help you reach your goals. This is literally the kind of recipe you can make everyday!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cups egg whites
- 1/2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sweetener
- 1/2 cup Double Chocolate Whey or Isolate protein
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Toppings of choice (mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts, etc.)
Preparation
- Add the egg whites and vinegar/lemon juice to a bowl and whisk using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Add the sweetener and beat until incorporated ;
- In a seperate bowl, mix the protein powder, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt ;
- Slowly fold the dry ingredients in the egg whites, in 2-3 batches ;
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix ;
- Line a baking dish or muffin tin with parchment paper or spray oil, add the mix in and bake at 325 degrees F for 15-20 minutes, depending on the mold you chose (we used mini muffin molds). Enjoy!
