CHOCOLATE PROTEIN MUFFINS
We know it, chocolate cravings can be real... And these muffins are definitely going to satisfy them while nourishing your body with good ingredients. You'll definitely want to try them!
Ingredients (makes 10-12 muffins)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 cup Double Chocolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup greek yoghurt
- 1/3 cup mini dark chocolate chips
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350F ;
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients together (except the chocolate chips) ;
- Mash the bananas and add them to the dry ingredients, along with the rest of the wet ingredients ;
- Fold in the chocolate chips ;
- Add muffin liners to a muffin mold and seperate the dough into 12 muffins ;
- Bake for 30 minutes, let cool and enjoy!
