PROTEIN STRAWBERRY MATCHA
You cannot say you hate matcha if you haven't tried this version yet. This is a high protein, strawberry flavoured matcha, and it will definitely make you dream about opening your very own cafe.
It only takes a couple minutes to make, and you can accelerate the process by preparing your strawberry syrup in advance for the week. Once you're set, you can enjoy a delicious protein strawberry matcha everyday with little to no effort!
Ingredients
Strawberry syrup
- 2 tbsp strawberry jam
- 1 tbsp stevia
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
- Splash of lemon juice
- Water to boil
Matcha
- 1 scoop Smooth Vanilla Whey protein powder
- 1.5 cups almond milk
- Your favourite matcha powder
Preparation
- Put all the ingredients for the strawberry jam in a pot, and bring to a boil ;
- Let simmer for a couple minutes, and transfer to a small container. Refrigerate ;
- Using a shaker cup, mix 1 cup of almond milk with the protein powder ;
- In a seperate glass, prepare your matcha with the rest of the almond milk ;
- Time to assemble : start with your strawberry syrup, and add ice cubes. Pour the protein milk in, and lastly, pour the matcha ;
- Enjoy!
