PROTEIN STRAWBERRY MATCHA

You cannot say you hate matcha if you haven't tried this version yet. This is a high protein, strawberry flavoured matcha, and it will definitely make you dream about opening your very own cafe. 

It only takes a couple minutes to make, and you can accelerate the process by preparing your strawberry syrup in advance for the week. Once you're set, you can enjoy a delicious protein strawberry matcha everyday with little to no effort!

 

Ingredients

Strawberry syrup

  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 1 tbsp stevia
  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
  • Splash of lemon juice
  • Water to boil

Matcha

 

Preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients for the strawberry jam in a pot, and bring to a boil ;
  2. Let simmer for a couple minutes, and transfer to a small container. Refrigerate ;
  3. Using a shaker cup, mix 1 cup of almond milk with the protein powder ;
  4. In a seperate glass, prepare your matcha with the rest of the almond milk ;
  5. Time to assemble : start with your strawberry syrup, and add ice cubes. Pour the protein milk in, and lastly, pour the matcha ;
  6. Enjoy!
