These 4 exercises are planned in every single back workout i do and i looooove them. Keeping it simple, and these can make a whole workout in themselves! just do 4 sets of each and you got a quick but complete back day right there1. Lat pulldowns
Tip : Use straps to support your grip and help target your back
2. Wide grip seated cable rows
Really focusing on hitting the mid/upper back on this one!!
3. Smith machine bent over rows
We love this variation of bent over rows since the movement is controlled and it really allows you to focus on squeezing the back
4. Single arm rows
Tip : Don’t forget to work on your unilateral movements, and start with your weaker side to work on those imbalances
Other favourites are :
- Cable pullovers
- Machine flys
- Pull ups or assisted pull ups
- Single arm dumbbell rows
